  2. Develop education materials

Plan to continue with ASB 201

  • Mitchell made UTI order set
    • On agenda to go to medical staff to present order set
    • Surgeon and hospitalist that sit on AMS task force – presented and got good feedback
    • Plan to kick off in ER then inpatient
  • Plan to take notes from antibiogram question discussion on TASP to implement feedback
  • Utilizing UW guideline book
    • Plan to do other guidelines next
    • Pneumonia or Sepsis good next steps
  • Plan to track how UTI order set is used & compare outcomes depending on use of order sets
    • Possibly readmission
    • Look at pre and post ASB treatment before and after order set implementation (and possibly outcomes)
      • Use data from this program as benchmark
      • Can keep submitting data if helpful
    • Will see if Legacy adopts order set
  • Barrier – stuck with what Legacy has, not catered to CAH
  • Most patients came and stayed inpatient, hospitalist focused on 3 days ceftriaxone
