TASP Faculty

Jeannie Chan is a pharmacist and clinical professor at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy and School of Medicine practicing at Harborview Medical Center and serves as faculty at the Center for Stewardship in Medicine. She has over 20 years of experience in infectious diseases pharmacotherapy and antimicrobial stewardship with expertise in optimization of antimicrobial therapy for complex bacterial infections and data-driven quality improvement initiatives. Jeannie enjoys working with rural and critical access hospitals because it is a meaningful way to learn from the innovative approaches addressing common clinical challenges in resource limited settings and to help translate these strategies into broader clinical practice. CSiM is important to Jeannie because it fosters peer-to-peer learning, promotes interdisciplinary collaboration and builds a supportive community focusing on patient safety across various healthcare settings.
