Description
Weiser Memorial Hospital is trying to determine how many asymptomatic patients are treated with antibiotics for bacteriuria prematurely (without having symptoms) or otherwise prescribed antibiotics based on culture results.
Determine who is being tested for asymptomatic bacteriuria and why.
Prevent unnecessary testing, save time, money, and the prevention of unnecessary testing and drug utilization.

Reviewed urine cultures 5 months- found the most ASB cases were identified in the ED, most everyone received antibiotics
