Description

Transitioned to CERNER –  difficult to pull data

  • Pneumonia – Have a program (pulled Oct – Nov) . ICD 10 codes built into report, inpatient and ED only.
    • Pulls data weekly (12 cases Nov 2023 into first week of Dec)
    • Census – Inpatient: 5-7; ER 5 – 22
  • Urine – general lab can pull data but if not general, each report must be built and cannot see the culture result.
    • 3 – 10 a day from ER, inpatient, and outpatient

Large provider turnover currently (50% understaffed)

  • Locums cycle

Goal:

  • With this year, after Maisie and Shauna left, Amber wants to focus on collecting data to see where facility is at, then look at data to identify next steps.
